Soil insights can be viewed within the Insights Panel for any selected boundaries, within our customizable Property Report, or on the Property Summary for a single parcel.
To view Soils within the Insights panel, follow these steps:
- Start by making a selection on the map.
- On the left navigation bar Click Insights > Soils.
- A new panel will appear showing the average soil score and a table that breaks down the different soil types with more detailed information for your selected land.
- When you hover your mouse over a row in the table, the matching colored area in your selection will be highlighted. This works the other way around too - hovering over the colored area will highlight the corresponding row in the table.
Tip: The selections dropdown menu at the top of the panel will allow you to filter results for individual selections.
Quick Shortcut: Click the Insights Shortcut on the bottom left of the screen to quickly toggle on the Soils Insight Overlay.
Note: States with their own productivity index will allow you to toggle between the area-specific option and the national NCCPI (National Commodity Crop Productivity Index).
