Search, Select, and Save Mortgages

Learn how to search for mortgage data across Acres, compile selections, and save them to your portfolio

Search For Mortgages

1. Click Mortgage on the left-side main menu. A panel will open on the left-side of the map.

2. At the top, under Type, you can include or exclude the various mortgage types by clicking on the corresponding buttons.

  • Mortgage data includes conventional, FHA, PPL, SBA, VA, and Other

3. Click Filter to filter your criteria further.

4. Filter options include…

  • Total Acres
  • Interest Rate Type
  • Mortgage Amount
  • Start Date
  • Maturity Date
  • Borrower Name
  • Lender Name
  • Search Area
    • State/County, Shape, Selections
  • Soil Score
  • Crop Type

5. Hit Apply

6. View results. The results of your search will show up in two places:

    1. Within the Mortgage panel in a Table View and 
    2. As dots on the map

Notes: 

Lender Names may be listed in a variety of ways. (For instance, Compeer, Compeer Fin’l, Compeer Financial.) You can multi-select the options to widen your search. 

Results will adjust based on your map view, with or without filters in place. Zoom out for the biggest picture.

 

View Mortgage Data & Add to Selections

To view mortgage data before adding it to your Selections Panel:

  • Using the Info Cursor (the black cursor located in the toolbar), click on mortgage from the table to open the detail panel. From there, you can click the green Select button to add it to your map selections.
  • Similarly, you can use the Info Cursor to click on a dot on the map. The detail panel will open and you can follow the same steps.

To quickly add sales to your Selections Panel:

  • Using the Quick Select Cursor (the white cursor located in the toolbar), click on a dot on the map to immediately add the sale to your map selections.
  • You can also add sales by checking the checkbox(es) from the table view and then clicking Select.

Note: You can select and save up to 30 mortgages per map.

Save Mortgages

Just like any other selections, you can save mortgages to a map for future use. Click Save at the bottom of the selections panel, give your map a name, and access it by clicking Portfolio.
