Acres has two selecting options located at the top of the toolbar, just to the right of the search bar.
Info Cursor
This is the black cursor. When you click on any point or boundary, any information associated with those will open up in the Property Summary panel.
- Clicking on a parcel will open up the parcel detail records. From here, you can select the parcel and save it to a map.
- Clicking on a sale from the map or the list will pull up the transaction details associated with that sale
Quick Select
This is the white circle with a plus sign. When you click on any point or boundary, the underlying parcel will be selected and added to a list. You will then be prompted to add this list to your selections panel on the right side of the screen. This is very helpful with multi-parcel workflows.
- Clicking on a parcel will add the parcel to a queue that you will be prompted to add to your selections panel.
- Clicking on a sale from the list view will instantly add that comp to your selections panel.
Clicking on the colored dot on the map will also add that sale to your selection panel.
Tip: If you’ve already selected the parcel, the parcel will be removed from your selection panel.
