Historical Imagery

Learn how to use Acres insights to see historical images for land selections.

Historical Imagery can be viewed within the Insights Panel for any selected boundaries or within our customizable Property Report. 

To view Historical Imagery within the Insights panel, follow these steps:

  1. Start by making a selection on the map.
  2. On the left navigation bar click Insights > Historical Imagery.
    A new panel will appear showing previews for years with available imagery.
  3. Scrolling through the available history and clicking on the desired year will change the overlay on the map.

Note: Acres' historical imagery comes from the National Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP), administered by the USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA). Acres allows users to visualize all available images going back to 2010.
