Toggle base maps, view soil maps by selection, and customize your embeds.
Choose Your Own Base Maps
Stick with the classic Acres satellite map, or select from base map options for the desktop experience and map embeds. Try it out with the embedded map below!
To select a base map in Acres, click the ⚙️ gear icon (settings) in the bottom left part of the screen and choose your map style. Because these are map settings, you can turn on a base map and open insight layers, sales data, customizations, and everything else.
Note: Map embeds have one bonus option not available on the Acres desktop experience—a Google map base!
Added Selection Dropdown for Soils
If you have multiple selections open but only want to view soil maps for one, you can now choose which selection to view from a dropdown menu in the Soils tab.
This allows you to isolate selections on the map without deselecting other selections you’re working on.
Map Embed Customizations
When you create a map embed, you can now choose which insight layers you would like to include. Learn more about how map embeds work in this help article.
We also added an option to copy just the map link from the Embed Code tab.
The Little Things
- Select multiple counties under sold land filters (Enterprise only).
- Saved map details now show precise acreage for selections.
- Merge will allow you to combine custom boundaries with Parcel and FSA boundaries.
- However tooltips now show California water district names when using the Water Layer.
- You can now upload .webp files to maps.
