Acres is pleased to announce the successful completion of its System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II audit, conducted by Sensiba LLP.
This independent audit affirms Acres’ adherence to industry-standard security practices and its commitment to safeguarding client data. Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), SOC 2 audits evaluate an organization’s security controls based on five trust service criteria:
- Security
- Availability
- Processing Integrity
- Confidentiality
- Privacy
The SOC 2 Type II audit assesses not only the design of these controls but also their operational effectiveness over a defined period. The report issued by Sensiba LLP confirmed that Acres’ controls met the required standards, with no exceptions noted.
“This achievement underscores our ongoing commitment to upholding the highest standards of data security and privacy,” said Acres CEO Carter Malloy. “By successfully completing this voluntary audit, we provide our clients with confidence that their information is managed securely and in compliance with industry best practices.”
SOC 2 Type II compliance is part of Acres’ broader, ongoing commitment to security, ensuring that its systems and processes continue to meet the evolving needs of its users.
