How do I use the insight layers?

Learn how to use the insight layers, like elevation, flood, and more.

Acres provides several interactive map layers to help you analyze individual parcels. The Insights tab includes important information, like elevation, soil, flood, and historic imagery.

To use any of the insight layers, start by selecting a parcel or parcels on the map. You can search for property using the Search tab in the left-hand menu, or you can zoom into the map.

Simply click on your parcel(s) to make your selection, and it will appear in the Selection Panel on the right side of the screen.

Once you choose an Insight layer, you will be able to view the associated data in the Insights panel and/or as an overlay on the parcel(s) you selected. Below is an example using the Vegetation Index, which displays data for this parcel both in the Insights panel and on the map.
