Why does this matter?
A SOC 2 Type 2 assessment provides proof that an organization is putting into action the security measures they claim to have in place and that these measures are effectively safeguarding your data.
What is SOC 2 Type II?
The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) created SOC 2 information security audits to provide reports on controls relevant to trust services criteria. The categories cover:

- Availability
- Processing integrity
- Confidentiality
- Privacy
A SOC 2 Type II report reviews a company’s controls, which are like security measures, to ensure they are designed correctly based on industry standards and also work well over a specific time frame.
Sensiba did not note any exceptions from stated controls on Acres' SOC2 Type II report.
