Video Tutorial: How to Use the Acres Sold Land Layer

Learn how to quickly find relevant and recent comparable sales with the Sold Land layer.



  1. To get started, you can use the Search function to zoom into a specific county.
  2. Open the Sold Land layer.
  3. There are two main data sets:
    1. Courthouse data is updated monthly and uses data from the county assessor’s office (buyer, seller, total price, price per acre, total acreage, transaction date).
    2. Curated data is provided by the Acres team with additional context (source, notes, attachments).
  4. Apply filters to narrow your search to relevant comparable sales. You can do this by filtering for sale date, PI, and more.
  5. Click Apply to see the results.
  6. Add the desired results to your selections.
  7. Run analysis, generate reports, or market analysis as needed.
  8. You can. also share and export the results to an Excel file if desired.
