Acres provides several interactive map layers to help you analyze individual parcels. The Insights tab includes important information, like elevation, soil, flood, and historic imagery.
To use any of the insight layers, start by selecting a parcel or parcels on the map. You can search for property using the search bar or advanced search tools in the top left of the map, or you can zoom directly into the map.
With the Info Tool from the toolbar selected, click on your parcel(s), then click “Select” from the parcel details panel to make your selection(s). You can also choose the Quick Select tool from the toolbar and simply click the parcel(s) on the map. Your selection(s) will appear in the Selection Panel on the right side of the screen.
Next, open the Insights tab in the menu on the left side of the screen.
Once you choose an Insight layer, you will be able to view the associated data in the Insights panel and/or as an overlay on the parcel(s) you selected. Below is an example using Elevation, which displays data for this parcel both in the Insights panel and on the map.
