Build and Export a Lead List

Steps:

Lead Lists-1

Lead Lists are mailing lists deduplicated by owner address to help you pre-qualify off-market opportunities or build targeted mailer lists.

To create a Lead List, follow these steps:

  1. Click Lead Lists in the left-hand menu. The lead list panel will open on the left hand side.
  2. First, under Select Data of Interest, you will choose your Data Type.
    1. Parcel = A list of parcel owners
    2. Transaction = A list of recent buyers
    3. Mortgage = A list of borrowers 
  3. Then you will define your Search Area.
    1. Choose between either State/County, Shape, or Selections.
      1. Within Shape, select your drawing tool to draw a polygon, rectangle, or a radius. Note that the maximum shape size is 2,500 sq miles (about 28 miles using the Radius tool). 
  4. Then, under Refine Results, fill out the other filters as desired
    1. Set your Acres Owned
    2. Define whether or not the landowner has an in-state or out-of-state mailing address.
    3. Set other criteria such as
      1. Assessed Improvements
      2. Use Category
      3. Land Cover
      4. Soil Score
  5. Search criteria differs slightly for Transaction data or Mortgage data. 
    1. Transaction data allows you to filter by a purchase date range and acres bought (vs owned)
    2. Mortgage data allows you to filter by mortgage type, interest rate type, mortgage amount, start date, and maturity date.
  6. Once you have your search criteria set, click Run Search.
  7. This will pull up a Results preview window. It will show you the number of records in your list.
  8. Click Back to Search to refine your results if needed. Records are not pulled until you click Download List.
  9. If you have enough records available in your account, you can click Download List.
  10. If payment is required, you will click Purchase and Download. A new page will open where you can enter your payment information.

  11. Your lead list will automatically download to your computer once the transaction is complete.
  12. You can always find a copy of this lead list in the Reports Center under the Lead List tab.

Note: State-specific regulations prevent the export of address lists from KS, ID, MT, SC and select counties. Learn more about lead list regulations here: Regulations on Lead List Exports
