You can add your own sale to the Acres platform. If you have opted in to view our Contributory Comps, adding a sale will add it for all other Acres users with access to Contributory Comps. If this is not the case, the sale will be automatically added as a Private Comp.
Both types of sales can be saved to a map and used as part of your comparative sales reports.
Here's how to add your own sale...
1. Start by selecting the parcel associated with the sale.
2. Then open the Sold Land layer and click + Add Sale.
3. Fill out the following fields…
- Sale Type (required)
- Sold Date (required)
- Acres Total (required) (will populate based on selected parcel but can be adjusted)
- Tillable Acres
- Price (required)
- Price Per Acre (auto-calculated)
- Buyer Name
- Seller Name
- Source URL
- Notes (Public or Private)
- Attachments (Public or Private)
4. When complete, click Add Sale
